Recognition the Greater Syracuse Disability Mentoring Day Committee has received include:
- The 2004 Local Organizing Committee for Disability Mentoring Day was the New York State winner of the Group Specialized Customer Services award from the International Association of Workforce Professionals (IAWP)
- The 2004 Local Organizing Committee for DMD received second place in the International Competition for the Group Specialized Customer Services from the IAWP
- The 2004 Local Organizing Committee for DMD was nominated for a Syracuse University Exemplary Achievement award under the category “The Soul of Syracuse”
